I really do like this. Sad that the main TremZ dev group broke up. I'm still working on one of the offshoots, and TheDushan is continuing development as well, likely using the Torque3D engine. We keep in sporadic contact.
HermIV closed the forums down without much warning. Apparently, HermIV was upset with TheDushan because TheDushan decided to drop the OpenWolf engine development and use Torque3D instead. Overall, I personally agree with TheDushan on that decision, because Torque3D is a far superior engine although it would've been nice to get the OpenWolf engine up to the point of useful, reliable playability first. Last I checked, TheDushan was still working on Torque3D.
Seems like that. My son helps a bit, but he's often AFK with studies. TheDushan is also very difficult to keep in touch with, but I sort of keep track and updated. Right now, I'm more involved in other projects, and it looks like what's become of TremZ will re-emerge under a different name and look although with a similar concept overall. My MImod is based partly on the storyline that was created for the TremZ background, and there's a webcomic being worked on.
I like the cubicle texture that you put on the window, accompanied by the 'exposure' caution sign on the inside. It gives the whole atmosphere of the picture a very futuristic feel, as if the beings aboard this ship have just been put on without very much verbal warnings, because it's such a standard thing to do space travel, that only a small sign is necessary since for the beings to know that exposure leads to solar radiation, because by now it's probably just common sense.
