This planet was found by humanity in 2014 (10,002 AD), it is highly composed of heavy elements such as Iron (Fe) and Nickel(Ni) compared to the Earth's high composition of Silica (Si).
This planet has small landmasses scattered on its surface, very much so like the pacific islands that can be found on Earth. Klaert is closer to its star than Earth is to Sol, it has a slightly higher percentage of water vapor in the air, causing it to have a more prominent blue tinge than Earth. As of 2018 (10,006 AD), Klaert has been evaluated and established as the newest site for mining by a mining company known as ESPMC (Extra Solar Planet Mining Cooperation). This mining company is responsible for much of humanities metal resources which are used to construct many space faring vessels and space tethers.

You're Space Arts are really amazing , you have great photoshop skills :)
How do you do the " space clouds " and nebulae ??

Thanks so much :), I used cirrus clouds and manipulated them heavily with different layer styles, saturations and colour overlays. Then I painted over parts of them with black which was gaussian blurred. I also painted some white bits and made some bits brighter and also added some particles to it. :).

I will admit, I generally look down upon planets generated from a single texture (particularly those that take a single texture then recolor it for different uses), but this is breathtakingly beautiful and gives the impression of varying terrain. I feel as if I could drag my hands across the surface, as I would loose soil or mountain rock, trying to gain full measure of its shape; it reminds me somewhat of the glimmering surface of Callisto.

That being said, I am conflicted between the image and the description gives, where you speak of small landmasses scattered across the surface. I cannot reconcile either blackness or light blues with the hue of water; the crack-like markings in both make it even harder for me to believe that this is anything but entirely solid surface, unless these are but shallow seas and the majority of the world is only thinly submerged. If Klaert has more water vapor than Earth, I would expect the cloud cover to be somewhat thicker; again the texture works against you, as it hard to tell apart lighter patches of rock and wispy clouds. Aesthetically, it's another story, as it lends to the mystique and wonder of the piece.

You were wise to cut down on the number of stars; it would only be distracting, given the ambiance of the rest of the image. While I feel that the sun shines a little too radiantly to feel realistic, as a work of art the lighting and direction provided by it serves you well, and I note how it comes out most strongly against the pastel-like nebula. If I might ask, how did you bring out these rays of light?

Thanks :), as for the "suns" rays, I actually used a stock photo (Pretty much any photo will do).
And I used lots and lots of radial blurs, I then desaturated it and set a layer style on it. Also it was meant to be much brighter than the sun as the star "Procyon" is apparently 6.9 times more luminous than our sun, sol.

To be honest, I don't know how long. As I actually left it for a while. This planet was one of the first I ever made. But I hadn't finished the atmosphere, nebulae and starscape yet. It had a terrible starscape and stuff. But I liked the texture of the planet, so I fixed it up in about 4 hours. Before that though I think I spent 2 hours on it. So I guess around.. 6 hours or so. :). Thanks for the comment :).
